Flux incapacitated

Image
Our country is in a state of flux. The euphoria felt after finally voting out the corrupt BN regime is now replaced by a direction less country unsure of it's place. Race and religion it seems still have a stranglehold on our collective conscience. The politicians that so badly wanted to have us believe that they have the cure is now itself the disease. Now we have the senseless death of a young fireman to show for our incompetence. And even his death are being used to sow further chaos and division and I ask for what? Religion and race is the one size fits all excuse to do and say anything you want without any accountability. Every day a new group is making demands to this rudderless administration more interested in jockeying for positions than on serving the people. We now have Ministers that have no clue on how to act and lead like one. Every day being a Malay is used as a 'weapon' of sorts to ask for this or that just because.. We have royals who have shown no res

Adib - Our collective moral shame

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our hero Adib. His passing is a great loss felt by all of us for such a senseless and violent act that has no place in a peaceful loving society as ours. Shame on the Cabinet Ministers that failed in their moral duty to ensure that our Constitution is upheld. Shame on the Police for failing to protect this young man. Shame on the cowardly perpetrators for inflicting such pain and suffering to Adib and our nation. Shame on the instigator/s that paid for the violence for absolutely no good reason. Shame on the Temple Committee for not adhering to the rule of law and using religion and race to justify their demands. Lastly shame on each and everyone of us for keeping silent and not let our voices be heard louder in wanting an inclusive Malaysia for Malaysians.

Rumbling getting louder for PH

A majority of my friends and associate are beginning to mumble about the PH Government. They need to show progress and show it faster as the natives are getting restless. All this constant politicking in the news are really not helping. Aside from a few Minister's a majority of those elevated to their post are not up to mark. I think we all know who they are. Dr.M has done his best but the rest of the team is a let down. Excuses are not tolerated anymore. Action is what's needed. Reforms as promised must be done at any political costs in the short term. The rule of law must reign supreme or else PH will find itself fighting for it's survival. Dead wood must be removed and replaced. The talented must be groomed and prepared and allowed the opportunity to grow with freedom to do what's needed. The people are watching and every mis step and bungling only angers an already frustrated voters even more.

Reject other UN treaties too, PAS tells Putrajaya

Well.... that certainly didn't take long for more demands from the very people that have no business making any demands in the first place!!! The back boneless PH has opened the flood gates by kowtowing to bullies!!! Bravo!!!! Empower the bullies!!! Terrific!!! Read the stupid stuff this ularmark says here  and another idiot  here. And here's more stupid and unbelievably moronic statement  Footballers to cover up . stupid /ˈstjuːpɪd/Submit adjective 1. having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense. "I was stupid enough to think she was perfect" synonyms: unintelligent, ignorant, dense, brainless, mindless, foolish, dull-witted, dull, slow-witted, witless, slow, dunce-like, simple-minded, empty-headed, vacuous, vapid, half-witted, idiotic, moronic, imbecilic, imbecile, obtuse, doltish

“Are you a Muslim? This is not a political issue, we are just asking what is in the Federal Constitution,”

So this past the sell by date politician thinks he can ask another person if he's muslim. Wonderful! What a load of bull spit of the highest order! These degenerates really have no sense of shame or any ounce of dignity!  Read here. Does he even know what's in the Constitution? I really doubt that! He has never shown any interest except his own so here we are again in this never ending loop of self denial and self promotion by expired politicians still stuck in their own ways who are now feeling rather hot and bothered by all the pending investigations and court cases that they have to answer for. Although to be fair, PH delivered their own goal on this one! They had the opportunity to re align this country towards a better and more inclusive future but in the end political survival and expediency ruled the day! They will come to regret allowing a small bunch of hooligans to demand the non ratification of ICERD and by opening this Pandora's Box they will find themselves

The slide to Mazism....

Image
Malaysia it seems is sliding dangerously towards a version of Nazism which I term as Mazism due to the constant and unrelenting use of race, religion, royalty. As with the Nazi's the new mushrooming of groups, NGO's etc promotes Malay pride (Master Race), anti jews, anti chinese and expresses dissatisfaction with things like  ICERD  without the need for proper dialogue and consultations. Sound familiar? And the authorities are slow to identify and curb such extremists views and allowing for these pressure groups with nefarious motives and intentions to gain traction and support throughout the malay citizens. What are they thinking? I am all for freedom of expression but when a group of people can threaten chaos if things doesn't go their way well....need I say more? Perhaps someone has to get hurt before we realise that this is a problem. And this is supposedly a New Malaysia. We are slowly dividing our fellow Malaysians by refusing to acknowledge the issue for politica

Malacca Chief Minister...Is this the best you can do???

Pelik d

Poverty Rehabilitation And Management (Malaysia)

A lot has been said about eradicating poverty with countless programs and Government agencies with billions in aid disbursements, subsidies etc given to the targeted group in an effort to reduce poverty and increase the economic opportunities for the lower income group in Malaysia. The whole effort can be deemed somewhat successful thus far but a lot can still be improved upon to grow the income for the targeted group. Here are a few suggestions just based on my experience of being in the B40 range in terms of median income as prescribed by the Department Of Statistics Malaysia. Firstly there must be structural changes made to be more pro active and not reactive as presently done. Here are a few ideas from me as to how this can be achieved with minimal cost to the Government:- 1- Overhaul the data collection methods with input from real time sources as opposed to last years statistics. This can be achieved using technology with a simple app that can be downloaded by anyone

Student activists march to Parliament in protest of PTPTN pay cut move Malu lah brader !! Ada la sikit 'kemaluan'... Please la.. And we wonder why these supposedly graduate cretins are by passed by employers? Why employers avoid our grads with a long pole. How can you make demands on not repaying a loan that was given in order for you to have a higher education and a better future?  Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam Se-Malaysia (Gamis) konon? Gamis president Muhammad Faizzuddin Mohd Zai just tell us who paid you la brader...simple. How much RM50 notes did you get for this 'stunt'? Is that amount enough for you and justify you to shame your fellow anak Melayu?

Thank you - Rafidah Aziz for saying so...

I FIND  it incredulous, to the point of being angry even, that there are still people who choose to be in an almost perpetual state of denial. As a taxpayer, I do expect that money spent must be for the nation's good. Certainly, like the many millions of Malaysians, I was riled up with the long and continually expanding list of revelations on the charges against various individuals. Topping the list are the top two heads of the previous government. It continues to be mind-boggling. I start each day wondering what else will be revealed. Who else will be called in for questioning, Who else will get to wear the orange suit? And what more abuses of authority will be revealed. Will it be a never-ending story? Heaven forbid. Justice must take its course and must prevail. I am glad the knots are being tied and pieces of the jigsaw are now being firmly put into place. However, it does not cease to amaze me that in spite of the evidence staring at our dumbfounded faces there are

Malaysia 2019 Budget

Image
The time has come for this newish Government to present to us it's Budget Plan for next year. It is a Budget that is being closely watched and scrutinized by all from the C.E.O's, foreign and local investors and fund managers to the makcik's and uncle's selling on the streets and everyone in between. This is viewed rightfully so as a litmus test of this new administration to show us what they can and will deliver after years of abuse and misallocations of the forever scheming last administration of the clueless Najib and his cohorts of cling'on's that saw only opportunities to exploit the budget to line up their pockets. Let's see what they can come up with after all the rhetoric is said and done. I am reserving judgement until the Budget is presented.  Malaysia is in dire need of structural economic mending but the politics is getting in the way to REAL meaningful reforms to our economic well being. There's just too many vested interests that ar

Something We All Need To Think About Now!!

Image
Here's an interesting video on something that we are all experiencing now and we all (humanity) needs to think about the issues presented and to find solutions. Humanity are capable of anything when we decide to work together for  once. We need to do this or the next generations will bear our inaction.....

Why is no one in Government talking about tech???

Image
Why is no one in the Government talking about technology? We're in 2018 and advancements in technology is everywhere and in almost all sectors and can be harnessed and used in multiple sectors to enhance our growth engine. We are still behind and dependent on others for technology and this is unacceptable. We have the largest internet penetration in terms of population and yet we are still talking about sunset industries like car manufacturing? We have 2 national cars and that should be enough. There is so much that can be achieved using available technology and yet no one not even the Minister in charge seems interested to do something about it. - Mobile tech - Alternative energy - Artificial Intelligence - Finance Tech (Fintech) - Alternative Energy - Bio Technology - Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality - Internet Of Things (IOT) - 5G Spectrum - Crowd Sourcing - Autonomous Vehicles Technology - Drones - Digital Centralization - Data Collection And Analytics Just

DAP's moment to shut their critics!

Image
While the death of the late Eddie Ong was tragic and unexpected one must now look upon the upcoming by election and see the golden opportunity presented within that tragedy. This is a chance for DAP to shut their critics from UMNO by simply fielding a qualified malay candidate for that by election. This will blunt any criticism and genuinely show the nation that DAP is not a chauvinistic Chinese based party. Chances are high they'll keep the seat anyway so why not strike two birds at the same time?? This act will go a long way in future elections to further assuage the Malay fears that DAP is not a multi racial party at heart and leave their biggest critic with no ammo to use against DAP. I hope that the top guns in DAP will be able to see the wisdom of this strategy although temptations are abound for the seat I'm sure. But this one small sacrifice from them will open the way to more winning seats in the future.

Stuck in the past (The Perpetual Conundrum)

Image
Here we are on the cusp of the year 2020 and still the nation even with a new administration seems to be stuck in a never ending loop of race / religion / royalty. While other forward thinking nations are full steam ahead embracing the future we still cannot move as a nation on the same old tired issues plaguing us. Except for PETRONAS and AIRASIA and maybe SP SETIA none of our products or services are known in the international arena. China at one time was perhaps 30 years behind us in development has leap frogged the world in technology. Huawei / Vivo / Oppo / Xiaomi just to name a few is able to thrive and grow globally despite China being a 'communist' country. Huawei is now ahead of Apple in terms of smart phone sales in the world and it only took them a few decades to transform their agriculture economy into the tech driven economy that is now lifting hundreds of millions of their population out of poverty. They can build their own cars, planes, aircraft carrier

Civil Service = Free Money (Malaysian Context)

Image
Malaysia in the late 60's and throughout the 70's all the way to the late 80's without a doubt had one of the best civil service in this region. The whole government machinery was highly respected and they did a wonderful job of bringing this nation out of it's agricultural economy into the manufacturing and knowledge based economy. That in turn brought the mass population out of poverty and the middle class was born in this era. The shock of the market crash in the late 80's was well managed and the people didn't suffer too many hardship as a result. The civil servants were mostly professional and English was well spoken among them and they were regarded at the international level. Somehow slowly but surely the quality of the civil service began to go down soon after. The civil service became the domain of politicians that brought with them cronyism and corruption into the decision making processes of policies and projects implemented by the government.

The Clue Less Clan Playing The Victim

Image
Everyday it seems that the Clue Less Clan of our dear Ex PM is in the news and their strategy so far has not done them any good. They are doing everything they think might stick and nothing it seems is off the table. And the whole family is in on it and I understand that... From the daughter to the son to even the grandchild and a housecat, all are mobilised to somehow 'cleanse' their father's image to us and the world. And if that's not enough they have some diehard supporters to constantly irritate us all by spouting nonsense and acting like hooligans for the sole purpose of just defending this one man who has :- -Robbed -Lied -Cheated -Abuse his Office -Sold out our country -Intimidate using all available means -Sowing racial and religious discord -Some go as far to say even murder? They fail to acknowledge what's right in front of their noses, crying nonsensical political persecution for anyone willing to hear. Forgetting the FACTS that is already

And so it begins.......Ex PM Dato Sri Najib Bin Razak arrested!!

Image
By now news has probably spread around the world that our Ex PM Najib has been arrested by MACC at his residence and it's believed he will be brought to court tomorrow. Wow!! I never thought we would see the day but here we are. And so it begins.... As we watch this unfold I am reminded by this story :- A long time ago in a small village somewhere there lived a zen master and the villagers often seeks his wisdom when anything of significance happens in the village. 'One day....there's a little boy and on his 14th birthday he gets a horse... and everybody in the village says, "how wonderful. The boy got a horse" And the Zen master says, "we'll see." Two years later, the boy falls off the horse, breaks his leg, and everyone in the village says, "How terrible." And the Zen master says, "We'll see." Then, a war breaks out and all the young men have to go off and fight... except the boy can't cause his legs all messed

Myopia of Race / Religion

Image
MYOPIA Near-sightedness , also known as short-sightedness and myopia , is a condition of the eye where light focuses in front of, instead of on, the retina . [1] This causes distant objects to be blurry while close objects appear normal. [1] Other symptoms may include headaches and eye strain . [1 There is a 'disease' amongst us and it afflicts most people and I term it as 'myopia of race/religion'. It manifests it's symptoms in profound ways that can be dangerous. The tendency to view life in the narrow viewpoint of race and religion is overwhelming in this country it seems these days. I was born in the 70's and I cannot recall any bias other than the normal day to day stereotypes we had of the different communities around us. There was never any violence or threats of violence just being of a different race or religion. These two issues has been used brilliantly by heads of governments the world over to suppress free thought and to divi
