Awang Selamat Tak Selamat
Yesterday , Awang Selamat made a claim that the malays are already regretting voting for PH in the last GE. He babbled about some issues that had cropped up since PH won the GE although he didn't manage to elaborate on what specific issues was he basing his column on.
I would guess he must've of meant the appointing of Tommy Thomas as the new AG or the revelation of Saudara Kadir Jasin as to the expenses the Government and by extension the rakyat had to bear for the upkeep of the multitude of Royalties in Malaysia as well as The Agong which Awang perceives as the erosion of malay dominance by the new administration.
I guess when looked upon strictly from a race perspective and in a feudalistic narrow mindset that would be valid arguments. But we all (right thinking malay) knows that Awang is just doing the only thing he knows best and that is to spew such drivel to stir the racial pot of the malays to be emotional and lash out at the new guys in Putrajaya.
Expect some obscure NGO's to gather a few 'members' and make a police report somewhere and make some noises somewhere to entertain us all as is the usual script. What Awang fails to see or chooses to ignore is the undeniable shift of the malays themselves and the pure disgust and hate they hold against his masters in UMNO.
This despite the fact that Utusan Melayu is collapsing because of this very fact and the laying off they will be conducting (all of them malays by the way)...is of no consequence because Utusan for so long has not been a news organization! Instead they have become accustomed to be nothing more than a propaganda machine for UMNO whom while still in power could afford to keep them afloat.
Now that the landscape has shifted the dungu's at Utusan are still clueless as to what constitutes an actual news organization. They,along with Awang shall die a death by a thousand cuts if they keep using this outdated M.O and I hope that they do for the sake of melayu!
Our bangsa are not and will never be served or uplifted by this vile piece of thrash that forever will let us think that we are not good enough to stand on our two feet! They want and need us to believe that it will always be US against THEM in a non ending cycle of stupidity!
