Another Day Another Loophole Exposed Another Corruption Brought To Light..

Nothing it seems is sacred to DS Najib's regime it seems. The exploitation of any all procedural loopholes is staggering and when that fails they even have the gall to side step all laws completely. Now we are learning about the latest in a long, long line of scandals involving the procurement of medicines for the Health Ministry thanks to some brave souls that have highlighted the issue into the open.

What is more damaging is the active and willing participation of Multi National Pharma's in cahoots with politicians and royalties (If proven true). I'm willing to bet that it is as it fits the pattern of these MNC's to bribe their way whenever that is more convenient and to hell with who has to bear the payment for those bribes as long as it doesn't hurt their bottom line.

The C.E.O's of the MNC's involved and all involved parties must be exposed for all to see and indicted as per our laws to set the example as an immediate step to stop this practise at once!

Structurally the whole Government procurement must be immediately overhauled and amended as to avoid this ever happening again. The whole process must be made transparent and include the use of Artificial Intelligence to minimize human involvement during the evaluation process as well to act as a back up of all records in the event of dispute.

How much more wastage and leakage can we afford at this time of our growth? When are we going to learn? Why are we still using an outdated system open to manipulation? Why has no one has ever been charged?

Enough is enough!

I was born in 1970 in Johore Bahru. And growing up in those days was an absolute joy when Internet,Smartphones were still just a concept. The slide to Mazism....

Malaysia it seems is sliding dangerously towards a version of Nazism which I term as Mazism due to the constant and unrelenting use of race, religion, royalty. As with the Nazi's the new mushrooming of groups, NGO's etc promotes Malay pride (Master Race), anti jews, anti chinese and expresses dissatisfaction with things like  ICERD  without the need for proper dialogue and consultations. Sound familiar? And the authorities are slow to identify and curb such extremists views and allowing for these pressure groups with nefarious motives and intentions to gain traction and support throughout the malay citizens. What are they thinking? I am all for freedom of expression but when a group of people can threaten chaos if things doesn't go their way well....need I say more? Civil Service = Free Money (Malaysian Context)

Malaysia in the late 60's and throughout the 70's all the way to the late 80's without a doubt had one of the best civil service in this region. The whole government machinery was highly respected and they did a wonderful job of bringing this nation out of it's agricultural economy into the manufacturing and knowledge based economy. That in turn brought the mass population out of poverty and the middle class was born in this era. The shock of the market crash in the late 80's was well managed and the people didn't suffer too many hardship as a result. The civil servants were mostly professional and English was well spoken among them and they were regarded at the international level. Somehow slowly but surely the quality of the civil service began to go down soon after. The civil service became the domain of politicians that brought with them cronyism and corruption into the decision making processes of policies and projects implemented by the government.
